Political Science

The Undergraduate Program in Political Sciences at Universidad de La Sabana aims to provide a vehicle for education and academic reflection on local, regional, national and international politics, being able to train policy makers.

The program was created in response to the country’s imperative need for new leadership, for people with both scientific and theoretical-practical knowledge, as well as the ethical or moral capacity to develop and implement far-reaching political proposals, to direct and govern the nation in the different spheres, or to intervene in a leading role in the areas of the private sector that have a close relationship with the public sphere.

The BA in Political Science acknowledges the need to formulate and propose new reflections that, from an academic perspective, contribute to the national public debate and thus to the development and consolidation of democracy and Colombian institutions.
