Description
This course is designed to help teachers acquire basic strategies to teach online and update knowledge on teaching methodology and inclusion of technology in this kind of environments. It will guide teachers to integrate their pedagogical knowledge and experiences with technology to the concept of online teaching through the participation in discussion forums, exploration of Web tools, core readings and a reflective journal.
The course will help participants deepen on issues regarding self-direction, integration of tech tools, material design, assessment and ethics in using technology. It also helps participants be part of a professional community that grows with the help of others through the participation in the activities proposed.
Target audience
Experienced teachers who want to move to online educational environments or want to get new strategies to teach online. This training course will also help participants gain pedagogical and technical knowledge pertaining to online learning.
