Universidad de La Sabana is offering the international community the opportunity to participate in short-term courses in a Latin American Studies Program. Students from various disciplines are able to choose from a wide range of academic courses taught in English. The four week program is designed to give students the chance to study in Latin America while learning the language and experiencing the culture first hand in one of Latin America’s most diverse countries: Colombia.


PROGRAM DATES

La Sabana's LASP runs for a period of four weeks in January/ February and July/ August each year. 

Next intakes:
1. January 16th – February 12th, 2017
(Deadline to apply:November 15th,  2016)
Students are required to arrive in Bogotá by Saturday January 16th, and leave no earlier than Sunday, February 14th. 

Students must attend all classes during the Program, in order to receive credit for it.

LA SABANA VIDEO LATIN AMERICAN STUDIES PROGRAM


LASP 2015-1 PARTICIPANTS

Universidad de La Sabana welcomed 22 Australian students who joined the 2015-1 Latin American Studies Program, coming from Macquarie University (10), University of Technology Sydney (6), Queensland University of Technology (5) and James Cook University (1).
For four weeks, the students took courses on Business Culture and History of Latin America, taught in English by La Sabana professors. They  also attended Spanish lessons from our Department of Languages and Cultures, and enjoyed cultural activities in Bogotá and its surroundings.
They were at the University until February 13.
