Specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics

This program aims to train specialists in gynecology and obstetrics who possess the knowledge, skills, abilities, dexterities, aptitudes and attitudes to carry out health promotion and prevention work; diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of diseases that affect the female genital tract, between adolescence and old age, and who are also able to do prenatal control as well as identify the risks and pathologies occurring during pregnancy, childbirth, puerperium and lactation, with a comprehensive vision of women and their family environment, combining knowledge of basic and clinical sciences efficiently with humanistic and ethical principles.
