Specialization in Internal Medicine

Internal Medicine specialists will have the capacities, abilities, skills, aptitudes and attitudes to perform tasks of health promotion and prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of cardiovascular disease within a framework of humanistic, ethical, bioethical, legal and efficient action; and to treat the diseases that affect human beings in the period between adolescence and old age, with a holistic view of the man, combining the knowledge of basic and clinical sciences with humanistic and ethical principles.
