Doctoral degree in Education
The Doctoral degree aims to train high-level researchers that contribute to the quality of education in the country and to the generation of knowledge at all levels of the education system. The program will develop the following research lines: education and childhood; educational institution; curriculum and management; educational integration of information and communication technologies.
The training of researchers in education — in its theoretical, practical and instrumental dimensions — is an opportunity to generate new knowledge or re-signify the existing knowledge in order to propose new competencies of the reality of education as a valuable asset, whose accumulation is part of the transforming possibilities of people and society.

The curricular structure of the Doctoral Degree in Education is built over two fields: conceptual foundation and research training. The conceptual foundation courses are about the actors, institutions and contexts of education. The research training is developed through seminars of each research line; methodological discussion seminars;complementary seminars; research internship; and the student development of a doctoral research guided by a thesis director.
