Description:

LALETUS studies and research on how to speak a second language effectively and how to improve the teaching and learning processes derived from practice. The impact of their research outcomes has been reflected in the progress of the students in both the proficiency program and the master's programs. LALETUS also collaborates with the “Colombia Bilingüe” Program of the Ministry of National Education and has also supported some education secretariats in several municipalities. Furthermore, as part of their pedagogical experiences, they have included in their main research themes core elements such as teacher professional development, evaluation of instructional design models, self-regulated learning, effectiveness of technology use and CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning), among others.
