University welfare and student services

The Universidad de La Sabana is full of options so that students can fully live the university experience. University Welfare is the unit that contributes to the integral formation of the entire university community with programs and activities that seek to enhance the physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual development of each of its members. Through culture, sports, health, volunteering and work training, the University wants to build an environment that facilitates the living of values and promotes institutional identity.

The University has a wide range of services available to support you, during your time with us such as: library, transportation, housing, volunteering, culture activities, sports, fitness facilities, health and prevention.

Students also have the Learn to Work Program (LWP or PAT, for its acronym in Spanish), an initiative aimed at supporting, in their free time, different types of work in the University.

Regarding to health activities, students have access to prevention and health services with basic nursing care on campus, as well as the possibility of medical assessment; they also have a friendly line, a psychological counseling service available to the university community.

In cultural and sports issues, the University offers the possibility of belonging to representative groups and sports teams. La Sabana has flagship groups such as the Tuna, the Choir, the musical bands, the theater group, the dance group, among others. On the other hand, in sports, there are selections of basketball, football, tennis, rugby, volleyball and ultimate, among other disciplines.

Finally, as part of the cultural, sports and artistic offer,La Sabana has a wide portfolio of free coursesin art, gastronomy, music and sports. The cultural outings to exhibitions, museums and other artistic events complement the offer of services for the university community.
