Description:

This group seeks to carry out studies on constitutional jurisprudence, both Colombian and foreign. These studies derive from the nowadays relevance of judicial decisions in the field of the sources of law. Thus, jurisprudence has currently taken up an equally relevant position among other sources of law. Today, the Law research focus is geared towards the philosophical foundations and the empirical challenges Public Law and Human Rights demand. In such a way, a research focus on the effectiveness of specific legal institutions is needed.
