International Relations


Universidad de La Sabana has a Direction of International Relations, ascribed to the Secretary General, which centralizes all the initiatives, generates institutional guidelines, supports everything around the international action of the academic units, all based on the Quinquennial Institutional Internationalization Plan. It’s supported by two headships:

  •  International Cooperation and Visibility, in charge of the development of new cooperation agreements (link a “Convenios” en subsitio DRI), communication of internationalization opportunities, institutional presence in HE internationalization scenarios at a national and international levels, monitoring of the University’s internationalization plan, and coordination of institutional visits to La Sabana campus.
  • International Mobility and International Resources, in charge of mobility of students within the framework of institutional agreements, the use of international financing opportunities, the University’s internationalization information system.

The Direction is also supported by a team of internationalization Coordinators/Managers in each academic unit, who support the internal processes of the internationalization activities, monitor the fulfillment of the internationalization plan and identify new academic cooperation opportunities for their units.


Latin American Studies Program

Universidad de La Sabana is offering the international community the opportunity to participate in short-term courses in a Latin American Studies Program. Students from various disciplines are able to choose from a wide range of academic courses taught in English. The four week program is designed to give students the chance to study in Latin America while learning the language and experiencing the culture first hand in one of Latin America’s most diverse countries: Colombia (Click here for more information)
