Teacher training portfolio
The Teacher Training Portfolio of the Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures of the University of La Sabana has changed for you. Now all courses have been divided by modules and each module is a new unique course, with no requirements or established order. You can take the course you want, obtain a micro-certificate for each course completed and expand your portfolio of skills in our Certificates platform. Some of our courses are part of a Series of courses in which you will earn a certificate.
A digital badge is an online representation or indicator of a skill you have developed through a course.
A course series is a grouping of courses in a specific topic. You will earn a Certificate by taking all the courses of the series.

This course is designed to provide participants with the opportunity to learn or deep on Henry VIII’s life and his important influence in England and surroundings during the XVI century. Simultaneously, participants will improve their English level when listening, reading, writing and speaking.

The course is designed for subject area directors, academic leaders and classroom teachers looking to lead successfully CLIL programs. Participants will be expected to design and plan successful learning objectives for content and language classroom environments.
Who said grammar is boring? It is essential to speak correctly!
The course provides learners with insights on grammar structures useful to express ideas, opinions, feelings as well as to describe, define or reflect on everyday issues. Learners will be able to use the present frame accurately to make speech sound smoothly and naturally.
Back to basics for good speaking in English
This course is designed to help learners use language accurately when speaking. They will manage the narrative tenses to refer to memories, anecdotes, first ideas, impressions, and experiences in life, and will be able to express projections, wishes and expectations through the use of the future frame.
High level grammar for academic papers
This course provides learners with a general overview of basic and complex grammar structures needed when writing in English. A review of punctuation rules and use of connectors will enhance the writing process to make it readable and coherent.
